There will be NO NOVICE COURSES at any of our events and the Schools league is currently on hold.

In these uncertain times we are unable to publish a firm schedule, but hope to continue hosting monthly events. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, all events are currently pre-entry and open to experienced orienteers only. Numbers may be limited, NO ENTRY ON THE DAY. Please check regularly for updates as the situation can change at short notice. Visit British Orienteering for up to date news and guidance.

Entries will close on 17th September, OR SOONER IF START BLOCKS ARE FILLED. ENTER NOW!

Start times 11:00 to 12:30 – when entering you select the 15 minute block in which you want to start.

British Orienteering guidelines are now allowing more people to start in the same block so hopefully there will be space for everyone who wants to attend.

Brown (10.1 km), Blue (7.1 km), Green* (4.5 km), Orange (3.7 km)

*A Short Green course is available by means of a cut off on Green. Please enter for Green then decide on the day (even on your run) if you want to do the shorter option, which will be about 3.6k

The area area is fast open fell with little climb so don’t be put off by the course lengths.

Safety and Risk: A comprehensive risk assessment will have been carried out by the event organiser. Runners must download even if they retire so we can be sure everyone is back and that we do not need to start a search and rescue. Participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety during the event.

Non-members and Third Party Liability Insurance: As from 1st January 2020 non-members will be covered by British Orienteering Third Party Liability insurance for all activities/competitions, and the limit of 3 activities/competitions will no longer apply.
